Jennifer Klinec loves to cook and founded Eat Drink Talk in 2006. She teaches privately organised group classes as well as cooking classes open to the public covering a variety of themes.

Classes at Eat Drink Talk reflect Jennifer’s broad experience studying with food specialists from around the world including in Canada, America, Mexico, Japan, Australia, Italy, France, Morocco, Yemen, Syria, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and at the prestigious Sichuan Institute of Higher Cuisine in China.

All classes aim to teach students not just how to follow a recipe, but a greater appreciation for the ingredients, techniques and flavours that make a specific style of cooking or regional cuisine unique. Students can expect a class at Eat Drink Talk to be packed with information and enthusiasm and include delicious ingredients sourced from some of the best butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers and spice merchants that London has to offer.

A member of several food and culinary guilds including the London Slow Food convivium and The Good Web Guide to Cooking Schools, Jennifer is well connected with food producers, growers and experts across London. This enables her to offer a diverse range of classes that are truly special and will appeal to food lovers and aspiring cooks of any background. Her relaxed, unpretentious approach and eagerness to share her vast knowledge of food ensures that even the most shy cook is made to feel comfortable.

Jennifer is a prolific writer and frequently contributes recipes to magazines and publications. She writes a regular food and recipe column for Urban Junkies which helps in-the-know Londoners answer the notorious question: ‘what should I make for dinner?’ and contributes a monthly column for London Eating and Foodepedia . She has also been invited to speak on BBC radio and on the BBC News Program ‘The One Show’ about food trends in Britain.

Frequently referred to as having ‘one of the best palates in the business’, Jennifer has advised a number of food companies and product marketing boards on recipe development and consumer trends. Her free bi-weekly newsletter ‘Yum!’ has built up a huge following with food-lovers and home cooks in the UK and abroad as one of the best recipe newsletters around.
