Gastropub cooking is characterised by an unpretentious approach to food that draws inspiration from Mediterranean, Asian and Middle-Eastern flavours using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. The results are simply delicious and here in Clerkenwell alone we are surrounded by many fine examples of how popular this style of dining has become.

In this class, we’ll look at how to re-create some classic gastropub dishes at home.

Some of the dishes we’ll learn include:

Asian-style Gravadlax with Chili Creme Fraiche
Ricotta Gnocchi with Wild Mushroom Ragout
Roast Lamb with Puy lentils and Salsa Verde
Orange Cakes with Rosewater Creme Fraiche
