Flavours of Szechuan

The cuisine of Szechuan is famous throughout China for its ‘ma-la’ (hot and numbing) flavours. In this class we’ll learn to make some classic and delicious Szechuan dishes that highlight the delicious cuisine of this region.
We’ll learn about the classic ingredients of Szechuan food including Szechuan peppercorns, sesame paste, black vinegar and chilies and use them to create some recipes that you’ll want to make again and again!
Some of the dishes we’ll learn include:
Dan Dan Noodles with Spicy Pork
Bang Bang Chicken with Sesame and Ginger Sauce
Kung Pao Chicken with Chilies and Peanuts
Red Braised Pork Belly with Pak Choy
